Institute for Excellence in Services and Planning (IESP) and Mumbai Traffic Police

Force Motors, and Mumbai Traffic Police are working with the Institute for Excellence in Services and Planning (IESP), so as to ensure safer and user friendly roads throughout the country. IESP, the training branch of  Airawat Group,will train personnel from the Mumbai Traffic Police Force, and other organizations in regards to road safety instructions and techniques to drivers based on the Defensive Driving Course training Module.

Sensing the overall increase in road accidents and haphazard driving practices in recent times, these organizations have come out with this scheme so as to reduce accidents and have so far given training to more than 4000 drivers.

Defensive Driving Course deals in two areas of training for Airport Driving and General Road safety. Training has been imparted to over 300 staff of Mumbai Police staff in a course consisting of 5 sessions. Airline Driving Permit has also been imparted to 3000 persons from top airlines including Cambata Aviation Pvt. Ltd., Go Air, Kingfisher Airlines, and also Mumbai International Airport Ltd.

These training programs are custom built to suit the needs of each organization and the types of vehicles they need to drive. Training is conducted in theory and practical techniques where drivers are trained to reduce the number of accidents or severity of the same through awareness of driving skills, making safe choices and other skills and techniques required for better road safety.
