Rolls-Royce 2 millionth Facebook fan is from India
April 2014 saw Rolls-Royce Motor Cars acknowledge and welcome its 2 millionth Facebook fan. The last year has been a good one for Rolls-Royce as the number of fans has doubled from 1 to 2 million in the last 12 months to reflect the automaker’s popularity across online social networking services.
In a personal letter posted on Facebook, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls?Royce Motor Cars, wrote, “Thank you to each and every one of you who has helped us reach a landmark two million fans. Through Facebook we can share sneak previews, bespoke insights and captivating stories from the Home of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars with you, wherever you are in the world.” He concluded, “I am excited to be sharing the journey with you!”
Rolls-Royce Facebook page was created in July 2010. It’s intent has been to broaden brand appeal, and bring it to a new and contemporary audience. Rolls-Royce Ghost and Wraith models have successfully done just that since their market launch.
