Audi Connect System with Google Streetview to cater to car owners infotainment announced

Audi Connect System will employ the use of Google Streetview and Internet Radio as part of their endeavor to ensure a better infotainment system for customers. Audi Connect uses Google earth to preload data on your GPS route and connect with your smartphone UTMS module so as to ensure a 360° view.

Besides this one can even browse the internet radio and play music on Audi system. Audi’s new Connect System will help connected mobility along with applications and developments by linking present and new Audi models of the future to the Internet and surroundings.

It will be with the help of a built in UTMS card and customer’s SIM card on board the vehicle that cars can gather such information such as navigation and points of interest search via Google Earth and Street View, weather and local and international news besides traffic information. In addition there is the intelligence to play the latest songs.
