The Mercedes F1 racer has been accused of not being sensitive by some fans to Schumacher’s condition. These holiday photos showing Hamilton enjoying himself on the ski slopes has also provoked a backlash from fans who state that he should remove these photos immediately as they are insensitive given that another F1 racer is currently in a serious and critical condition in hospital.

Some comments included, ‘Shame on you’ and ‘very insensitive given a certain ex race driver’s current condition in hospital’, ‘He really should think a little and take these down before it harms his good name.’ But, most of the fans did not think that this was done in a bad taste. ‘He has only posted one photo of him skiing and in that he had a helmet on. The other photos are of him hiking or cross-country skiing or walking. Is everyone to stop posting photos of snowy vistas or skis full stop? Grow up please.’
