Chevrolet Trax, an urban SUV is muscular in stance and dynamic is appearance. It sits on 18” wheels and has a total of 25 storage compartments in its interiors which can carry a total load of 1372 liters. The new Trax is powered by a 1.4 liter turbocharged engine mated to a 6 speed automatic manual transmission. This allows the Trax to offer 103 kW of peak power and 200 Nm peak torque while at the same time being highly fuel efficient and capable of achieving fuel economy of 6.9 liters per 100 km.
Ideally suited for challenging road condition due to an all wheel drive system, the new Trax has already received a 5 star safety rating at Euro NCAP testing and comes in with a host of safety features to include Electronic Stability Control, Curve Braking Control and Rollover Mitigation. Infotainment features abound in the form of Chevrolet MyLink, a 7 inch full color touch screen that supports functions to include eyes free integration, multimedia entertainment and efficient navigation. The new Trax will be priced in China from RMB 119,900 – 159,900 (INR 11,61,508-15,49,809)
The new generation Chevrolet Cruz is a midsized compact car developed by GM’s global R&D team. It is inspired by the slogan – Design with a Heartbeat and based on Chevrolet Tru Concept seen at the 2012 Auto China show. Setting new standards where fuel efficiency, dynamic handling and state of the art intelligent technology is concerned, the new Chevrolet Cruze is the first model to receive a new generation Ecotec small displacement engine which has been jointly developed by GM and SAIC.
The new Cruze will be available with a 1.4 liter mid mounted direct injection turbocharged engine or a 1.5 liter mid mounted naturally aspirated engine, each of which will offer an exciting package of fuel efficiency, ride comforts and quiet performance.
