The sports naked bike has an unmatched power to weight ratio of 340 PS/ton (Duke 200 is at 200 PS/ton). Duke 390 weighs 139 kgs and comes in with brightly colored orange alloy wheels and a stark white fuel tank sporting a distinctive 390 sticker. The new sports bike will be sold through KTM stores across the country while it will be serviced by trained engineers at Bajaj Auto service centers.
Once launched, 390 Duke will become the most expensive two wheeler in the Bajaj KTM range in India. It will sport Metzeler M5 Sportec tyres which are slated to have better grip under both wet and dry weather conditions. Most bike parts will be sourced locally which is what gives the vehicle an edge where pricing is concerned (expected: Rs 2-2.5 lakhs). The Duke 390 will be manufactured locally at the Bajaj Auto plant in Chakan near Pune, while it will be exported to a large number of countries across the globe.
