Honda X-Blade Adventure on display at Auto Expo 2018
Honda may introduce the adventure tourer kit for X-Blade in the future.
Alongside the soon to be launched Honda X-Blade 160 street fighter, Honda has also showcased an adventure tourer version of the motorcycle at the Auto Expo 2018. The Honda X-Blade Adventure is essentially an accessorized version of the base motorcycle and could be hinting at a possible variant extension in the future.
The embellishments include a customary windscreen, knuckle guards and of course, a luggage carrier in place of grab rail. Other noteworthy add-ons include pseudo carbon fibre accents, new graphics, and a matt grey color scheme. The adventure kit could be made available as an optional extra with the X-Blade if the manufacturer receives positive public feedback.
To recap, the Honda X-Blade will be pitted against the likes of Yamaha FZ-S V2.0 and Suzuki Gixxer. Power comes from a 162.1 cc HED air-cooled motor which is paired to a 5-speed gearbox to produce 13.9 PS and 13.9 Nm of torque.
The X-Blade 160 street fighter will be hitting the showrooms sometime next month. The equipment list includes full LED headlamp, digital instrument cluster (with gear shift indicator), dual outlet port silencer, alloy wheels and so on.
The X-Blade sports regular telescopic front fork and monoshock rear suspension system. The front wheel is retarded by a disc while the rear employs a drum.
