2015 is going to be an important year for Hyundai India as the models it is planning to launch in the country are all clear volume makers.

The South Korean carmaker is aiming to cross half-a-million sales milestone by 2016, to achieve which the company has to grow its sales 14% to 4.65 lakh units this year, which is double the estimated growth rate of Indian market. This is indeed a very aggressive target for the firm, but considering the customer rush for Elite i20 and the online buzz for i20 Cross and ix25 compact SUV (codenamed GCi), Hyundai may get very close to the bulls-eye if not a perfect shot.
The case of Hyundai Verna facelift is what is unpredictable at this point. For the past six months, sales has been slumping (from 3,000+ to 1,500+), due to the intense rivalry of Maruti Ciaz and Honda City. New Verna will definitely turn heads, but it is difficult to assert that it will return to its original sales pace, let alone trouncing said rivals.
