Yamaha YZF-R25 engine sound: Rev from idle to 14,000 rpm

Yamaha R25 engine sound

The new Yamaha R25 was launched in Indonesia today for a price of 53 million Indonesian Rupiah (which as per today’s conversion rates equals to about $4,662 or €3,376 or INR 2.7 lakhs). Pretty expensive for India, if you consider the even more powerful KTM RC 390, which is soon going to be launched for an even lesser price. So what will tip the scale in favour of Yamaha R25 apart from it’s looks?

Yamaha R25 engine soundWe didn’t expect it. But yes. Its the engine sound or exhaust note or silencer sound or what you may feel like calling it. Just listen to the exhaust note of Yamaha R25’s production variant motorcycle in the video below, and you will want to own this motorcycle more than ever.

Before you hit the play button, we would like to remind you that this is a 249 cc motorcycle!

How many times did you hit REPLAY? Cannot stop listening to this beauty, right?

Yes. Now you want to buy the bike. Sadly, it is not launched in India yet. India launch of Yamaha R25 will take place by November, or even before that. The dealers have confirmed this. And apart from dealer confirmation, it has already been revealed that one unit of Yamaha R25 has already landed in India for R&D. Which means road test will soon begin.

So next time you listen the same engine sound around you, don’t forget, it’s the Yamaha YZF-R25.
